An unseasonably warm November day lured us outside. This farm is run by the Columbus Metro Parks and is located souteast of Columbus. The farm dates back to the mid 18oo's. It was a great afternoon of discovering what life was like before video games, cars, and grocery stores! The kids really enjoyed the granary, where they got to shuck the corn, remove the kernels, and grind them into cornmeal.
The new playhouse arrived yesterday. We told the kids they could take anything from the basement to decorate the house. They spent Friday evening getting it set up and showing it off to their friends. Tonight they are attempting to sleep in it, but I wonder how long they will last. They are out there right now watching a movie on my computer!!

In March we tagged along on Andrew's business trip to Munich, Germany. We toured Munich and the surrounding countryside and spent a day in Salzburg, Austria. Note the gazebo is from the Sound of Music!
It is pretty flat in Ohio, but there are one or two hills available for sledding. We had another snowfall last night so today was a good day for sledding.
